Saturday's 3-set win over visiting Sollentuna registered our second season sweep of the year, winning both matches played against RIG Falköping and Sollentuna in 3 straight sets.
Our focus on serving tough at the right targets proved beneficial, with 10 service aces, and also gave us a chance to be stable at the net to earn 7 total team blocks. We stuck to our serving goals, and also saw a much better focus on winning the easy free balls, something we have been training hard over the past week.
We also saw Ebba Ekblad in her elitserien debut, accounting for 4 service aces and 5 attacking points, good enough to earn MVP of the match. The whole team took a step forward, keeping patient through long rallies and playing smarter at the net. We hope to continue this upward progression in the league on Tuesday, when we travel to meet Engelholm.
