We entered Tuesday night's match very unsure of who would be able to play, with many players battling illnesses and a few injuries. With a few line-up changes, we saw a small spark, but were never able to challenge EVS in the way we hoped. Our serves were inconsistent and EVS dominated our attackers at the net, finishing with 12 total blocks. Hanna Salomäki led our team with 11 total points (10 kills, 1 block), and Meghan Sherman earned MVP.
With a few days between matches, we look forward to another opportunity to challenge another strong opponent in Svedala. They come off of two-straight losses against Hylte/Halmstad and Örebro, and we can expect them to arrive hungry for a win. With losses hanging heavy in the minds of both teams, you can look forward to an exciting battle in Gisle sportcenter!
